Automatically create centerlines and center marks in a drawing view

  1. Choose Home tab→Annotation group→Automatic Center Lines .

  2. On the Automatic Center Lines command bar, set the options you want.

  3. Ensure that Add Lines and Marks is enabled on the command bar.

  4. Click the drawing view.

Centerlines and marks are added to the drawing view according to the options you specified.

Tip:

  • You can use the Center Line and Center Mark Options dialog box to filter the geometry on which you want to place centerlines and marks.

  • This process does not create duplicate centerlines and marks.  If you run this command on a drawing view that already has some centerlines and/or marks, additional centerlines and/or marks are not placed in those locations.
