Measure Area command

Measures the area inside a closed boundary, or the total area inside more than one closed boundary as well as the area inside the last closed boundary. To measure more than one boundary, hold the Shift key as you click boundaries. You can use the Measure Area command when you are in the middle of another task.

You can use the Measure Area command in the Draft environment and when sketching in 3D models.

In the Draft environment, you can specify whether the area and total results are displayed using drawing view scale or a user-defined scale.

Tip:

You must lock a sketch plane to use this command in the 3D environments. See Lock or unlock a sketch plane.
