Hide command

Hides the selected component or PMI element.

To make the current task easier, you can hide components such as a surface body or design body in a part or sheet metal part document, or a part or subassembly in an assembly document.

You can also use the Hide command to hide individual PMI annotations and dimensions, reference planes, coordinate systems, curves, and surfaces.

When you use the Hide command to hide a feature in a part or sheet metal model, the entire model is hidden. You can use the Suppress command to hide an individual feature.

If you select Hide while pointing to the Dimensions or Annotations node in any PMI collection, then all the dimensions/annotations in the collection will be hidden in the display.

Note:

In an assembly, you can improve performance by using the Unload Hidden Parts command to unload the hidden parts from memory.
