On the EdgeBar tool, click the Assembly PathFinder tab. |

In the top pane of Assembly PathFinder, click the assembly you want to collapse. |

On the shortcut menu, click Collapse. |
Tip:
You can also expand and collapse an assembly by clicking the plus and minus symbols adjacent to the assembly name in Assembly PathFinder.
When you in-place activate a part or subassembly, you cannot collapse the assembly structure for the assembly to which the in-place activated part or subassembly belongs.
